HOFFMAN Get to Know Holly Hoffman Holly Hoffman was born and raised in Eureka, where she graduated from Eureka High School. She and her husband Charlie, manage a cattle ranch in north central South Dakota. Charlie also serves as a Representative in the State Legislature. Holly and Charlie have three grown children who all attended South Dakota universities. Austin, 25, is a graduate of South Dakota State University, Brookings, and is now employed with KELO TV. Alexandra, 23, attends SDSU and will graduate in May with a broadcast journalism degree. She is also a member of the SDSU Women’s Swimming and Diving Team. Elizabeth, 20, is a junior at the University of South Dakota, Vermillion, she was pre-accepted into the USD Med School. She is also a member of the USD Women’s Swimming and Diving Team. There are a lot of messages I can give from my experience.” She also wants to help others, especially those that deal with hunger on a daily basis. “One of the organizations I am supporting is Kids Against Hunger, I went through starvation on the show and some children feel this for a lifetime,” she said. “My husband and I are planning on going back to Nicaragua with food for the starving children over there. It is a very poor country — people live in tin shacks with no running water. I really want to go back and try to help.” In addition to booking speaking events and participating in fundraisers, Hoffman has started a small business, Inner Depth, LLC, to market her speaking skills. “I’m really excited to share my message.
