A: I work in the lab, which includes drawing blood from patients and running lab tests. When drawing patients, it’s always a good feeling when they say, “I didn’t even feel that!” It’s great to know I can do my job and cause the least amount of discomfort for my patients. Q: What changes have you seen since you started? A: I’ve seen a lot of changes in technology in my 25 years at YMC. What doesn’t change is providing the best, compassionate care for our patients and their families. Q: Why do you love working for Yankton Medical Clinic? A: My coworkers at YMC are like a second family. We share each other’s ups and downs, both professionally and privately. I couldn’t ask for a better group of people to work with!
