It is so rewarding to see somebody get the help they need and benefit from the care that we have provided. I have worked in many different areas as a float nurse – most recently in Dermatology – and have found joy in providing care for a variety of patients with different health problems. Q: What changes have you seen since you started? A: The biggest change that everybody at the Clinic has been adjusting to is the switch to the Electronic Health Record from paper records. This has been a big project and has taken many hours of training and mastering for everybody. All the hard work has paid off as we are all finding areas that are very helpful in the system for both the providers and patients. Q: Why do you love working for Yankton Medical Clinic? A: I love working at Yankton Medical Clinic because of the teamwork. I love working with all of my co-workers and we are all a team.
